Today was a busy day...again. We started at about 8:00 AM in St. Peter's Bascilica. We went up to the top of the dome, then wondered around inside. We even attended mass in Latin, and I took communion.
From the dome, you can see our apartment building. It's the tall one in the middle next to the train tracks.
The dome...from inside.
Tie for the worst meal of Rome...TV dinners. That's right. We ate at a tobacco store that served lunch. We didn't know it...but the food they served was microwaved from frozen. Yummy...authentic Italian food.
The Colosseum and the crowd.
Next, the colosseum. We bought tickets the night before online, so we were able to pass all the people in the line. Not so impressive from the inside. Crazy from the outside.

Time for Gilato, fresh juice, and a Belini in view of the Colosseum.

Good chicken and potatoes, but not quite as good as last night's
